Woman Killed in Saturday Morning Crash in Fresno Identified as Mary Lynn Barber

Fresno, California (February 23, 2017) – According to a California Highway Patrol, a woman was killed Saturday morning after the vehicle she as driving was struck by another vehicle at an intersection win West Fresno.
At about 9:40 a.m. Saturday, CHP official responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Chateau Fresno and Kearney Boulevard.
According to the report, a 60-year-old Simi Valley woman Mary Lynn Barber was driving a Prius heading northbound on Chateau Fresno, and when she entered the intersection, the Prius was struck on the driver side by a black car. Barber was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a woman and a child who were inside the black car suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The incident remained under investigation.
