Rancho Cordova, California (February 24, 2017) – A male pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on Sunrise Boulevard Thursday night in Rancho Cordova, as per a CHP dispatch.

The accident occurred at about 8:15 p.m., just north of Coloma Road.

According to a FOX 40 News article, CHP said that a pedestrian, male, was crossing Sunrise Boulevard when he was hit by a truck causing him fatal injuries.

CHP also reported that the vehicle may have tried to stop but hit the victim as seen from the skid marks on the road. The driver fled the crash site leaving a broken mirror of the vehicle described as truck or SUV.

The identity of the victim was not released pending family notification.

The incident was considered a hit-and-run though an investigation is underway.

Fresno, California (February 15, 2017) – According to a police report, three vehicles collided Tuesday morning in Central Fresno sending five people to a hospital.

According to the report, one vehicle collided with another near the First Street and Olive Avenue intersection. The impact of the crash caused the two vehicles to swerve and hit a third vehicle at the intersection.

Five people were injured in the crash. All the five injured parties were hospitalized with a variety of injuries. Some were said to be serious, but none was considered life-threatening.

One of the drivers remained at the scene after the accident and was cooperative with the police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Fresno, California (January 3, 2016) – A 21-year-old Fresno resident died Sunday night after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Herndon and West avenues in Fresno, according to a police report.

The accident occurred around 9 p.m. between an SUV and a white colored sedan in the area of Herndon and West avenues.

Reportedly, the SUV was westbound on Herndon when collided with the passenger side of the sedan as it turned onto Herndon from West Avenue.

Weakley was inside the sedan at the time of the crash.

No further information was provided.

The deadly crash remains under investigation.
